Bio

Tony is a Brisbane-based creative writer and marketer, whose primary focus is poetry and story-telling. His passion for stories began at a young age, seen in how he was always excited for Show & Tell. Tony’s interests grew into attending speech & drama classes, public speaking and debating tournaments, as well as writing and poetry workshops / open mics.

As a son of an immigrants, Tony’s family placed a strong value on being able to communicate clearly, while seeking to understand as to be understood. This has instilled in him a strong sense of being an active listener – a trait that he finds as his purpose in poetry.

“The role of the writer is to be a witness to the world, to help us both understand it, and to see what it can become.”
